The Fullness of Creation

My heart cries out in silent moans of frustration
Too overwhelmed for the utterance of sound
At hearing men claiming their own salvation
The cleansing of their own hearts with earthly works
Still I know the Lord desires their redemption
Enough to leave no work of righteousness undone

My tears are overflowing thinking of His grace
My mind returning and my heart following after faith
His glory rising and shinning warmly on my face
His Spirit poured out and filling up this vessel of clay
Nothing I have ever done has prepared me for this day
But everything He has done is pulling me from the grave

My mind overflowing with images that have no words
My tongue speaks with sounds I have never heard
My heart cries out, “The Lord my Savior’s set me free”
The chains are no more that kept me in unbelief
The earth quakes and the doors are all unhinged
Still we remain to lead another to His loving grace

Now I am fully convinced there is nothing I can do
To make me worthy of the gift that He has freely given
And just as convinced that nothing can take the gift away
The Lord my God has given me an unveiled place to pray
In the garden where we walk and talk in the cool of the day
Holy in His likeness and His image in the fullness of creation
