Born Again

The wicked walk on every side, when vileness is praised by the sons of men (Psalm 12:8 MKJV). When the things that are contrary to the word of God are exalted, wickedness walks about freely. The alternative is the word of God, Jesus. The words of the LORD are pure words, like silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. You shall keep them, O LORD, You shall preserve them from this generation forever (Psalm 12:6-7 NKJV). The LORD God keeps His word. It is God, and not wickedness, that must be exalted. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all to Myself (John 12:32 MKJV). Those that walk in wickedness are lost. Then Jesus said to them, “Yet a little while the Light is with you. Walk while you have the Light, lest darkness come upon you. For he who walks in darkness does not know where he goes” (John 12:35 MKJV). “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3 NKJV). Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever (1 Peter 1:22-23 NKJV).

What is conceived when the Holy Spirit
Has saturated the inner most soul
What travails when the word of God
Has outgrown the confinement of the heart
When the womb, filled with the water of life,
Comes full term, breaks opens, and sheds blood
Not a corruptible offspring, but incorruptible
Rivers of living water from out of the womb
Born out of the word of God which abides
No longer tasting death, being weaned in life
Released from the confinement of wickedness
That once prevailed, walking on every side
No longer in the darkness of generation
Now walking in the Light of reconciliation
