Christ is the way to grace and glory
Has it always been this way
Answers are in King David’s Psalms
Notwithstanding his transgressions
God’s Son covered the King
Eternal life was born in him
Spirit of God, Son of Man heal this day

Carnal minds find earthly answers
Hearts that pump only blood
Are not alive in the Kingdom
Nor are they aware of the promise,
Grace or peace that comes from Him
Even in our trials there is peace
Sent from God to His children

Can we continue to deny the life
Have we continued to long without
And will we continue another day
Not having the understanding of love
Giving the life we cannot ourselves
Endure or even make tolerable
Shall we change the way, or it us

Christ is an inviting alternative
Having given His life for all
And now living within those who
Seeking, have found and believe
God’s own sons and daughters are we
Even as we stay from Him, we are His
Salvation is living the life Jesus gave

Can we find ourselves in Him
Him, can we find inside of us
Answers are waiting the coming
Night turns to day and back again
God calls and waits and calls again
Each of us that turn to say “yes Lord”
Share the Spirit that will help us change
