Breath Of Life

“Then God said, ‘Let there be light’; and there was light” (Genesis 1:3). “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men” (John 1:1-4). The word Yahweh (YHWH) is the sound of life’s breath. Yahweh spoke to the light – the Word of God – the Son of God – the Son of Man, and light was. “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being” (Genesis 2:7).

He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.’” (Ezekiel 37:9). “But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you” (Romans 8:9-11). The Son that is Salvation returned to the Father, and the Father sent the Breath of Life (renewed/reborn life).

“He who has received His testimony has certified that God is true. For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure. The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand” (John 3:33-35). “And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, ‘Abba, Father!’” (Galatians 4:6). The Spirit of the Son in our heart turns us to the Father (causes us to repent – Salvation). The Father delivered (we were born again) us out the earth by sending His Son – His Word. Words are formed by the Breath of the Father and are true. Jesus the Messiah is the Word of God formed by His Breath, who is God and is with God. The Word is formed by breath and manifested in the hearing.

If the work is the Father’s, why do we praise and glorify the Son, Jesus? “Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: ‘Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent'” (John 17:1-3). Because the Father glorified the Son and the Son gives glory to the Father. We cannot glorify or testify without the Father’s Breath of Life. Should we not glorify what the Father has glorified and what glorifies the Father? The Word of Life comes by the Breath of Life; “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). Not just hearing a reading of scripture, but hearing the Word from the Breath of Life, the Spirit.

“Then God said, ‘Let there be light’; and there was light” (Genesis 1:3). “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life’” (John 8:12). “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world” (John 9:5). Jesus also said, “You are the light of the world.” (Matthew 5:14a). How can you be the light? As long as Jesus is in the world, He is the light of the world. If Jesus is in you, then you are the light of the world – the light is within you and is not hidden under a basket.

The Father’s Spirit (Breath of Life) is in the Son (Word of God – Word of Life). The Word (Truth – carried by the Breath, Spirit) is in the Father who spoke Him, who was delivered to us by the Spirit. Praise God with every breath and with every word and you will be praising both Father and Son. Breathe and praise His name! Say to Yahwah, “Have Your Way.” The Way to the Father is the Son! Follow His Word back to the One that spoke Him. “Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!” (Psalm 150:6).
