Let Your Servant

In the arms of the Lord my God
In the arms of the Lord of lords
In the arms of the King of kings
Someplace I thought I’d never be
‘Til I knew I already was

An example of not to does
My Lord still loved and cared for me
And found a place to plant a seed
Flowing water from the Spirit
Brought God’s glory, goodwill and peace

(chorus)
Lord let your servant now live in peace
My eyes have seen Your salvation
The light to bring revelation
To the glory of your people
According to Your spoken word
You prepared before all peoples
(Luke 2:29-32)

Let Your loving light shine within
Let Your light shine upon a hill
To be shared by all of Your people
A beacon to those still seeking
So they can see You standing there

You are the God of salvation
Son of the living loving God
Sent to set us free and give life
And to give it more abundant
To Your brethren everlasting
