Just writing to say, I wish I knew
Only I don’t have an answer
Everything comes back to knowing God
You know, knowing should be enough

Journeys begin with one step
Or they don’t begin at all
Even when the step is taken
You feel the end is too far

Jonah was in the big fish
Only three days and three nights
End of his journey was not getting out
Your trials are made easier, not gone

Jesus is the answer, so I guess I have it
Or do you need something you can touch
Extent your hands out to each other
You will touch the hand of God

Just writing to say I’m praying
O’ Lord God give them your love
Everyone needs the Father and Son
You are their hope and their strength

Still I wish there was a way
To touch the heart and make it whole
Enter into the soul and make it God’s
Victory could be so sweet at God’s feet
Each of us finding the Lord within
Now that should be the way

Teach me Lord to reach the ones
Relying on the still unknown
In love and the truth of You
Nothing can take the place of love
It is the heart and grace of God
To receive the Son and know the Father
Your Spirit is the way, send Him
