Why So Sorrowful part 3

The Lord has a strategy. Love one another; as I have loved you, love one another. The enemy has a strategy. Interfere with our relationship by stopping the love between us. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy. The enemy starts when we are young. The scripture tells us that God forms us in the womb. The enemy starts while we are in the womb.

One example is babies born addicted to alcohol or drugs or both. A parent of a baby born with an addiction has a problem and passes it on to the new born while he/she is still in the womb. The parent is emotionally unable to try and nurture the new born. Another example is abandonment by a parent that was nothing more than a seed donor, and often never knew a child was conceived. The issue starts with an inadequacy in the parent, but the result is a child that is not properly nurtured. The enemy started working on the parent, and has destroyed their ability to commit to another person. Abortion is another example; the child being killed before it is ever born, and siblings of the aborted baby emotionally abandoned by the guilt of the parent.

There are a lot of ways that the enemy attacks the young. The attacks continue through all stages of this life. The child with one parent or in a family with multiple last names is looked down on by the “normal” family. A child shunned by society and their family, becomes easy prey for the wolves. The wolves were once babies and children, damaged by the enemy to the point of becoming a party to the madness.

The fact that there is a major problem in this world is not news, and without an answer to the problem why speak of it. The answer is the strategy of God. Love one another. Love your enemy; in reality, make no one your enemy. No matter the intent of the other party, do not make them your enemy. The enemy is the one that is attacking us all. Forget the enemy! Love one another regardless of what the enemy is attempting to do in your relationships. The enemy will steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly. Who do you believe? Who do you follow? Follow the One with the solution!

Don’t expect the world to make it easy for you to love. The pain of past experiences with the enemy will slow down and even stop others from accepting love. Denial of love at a young age makes it hard to see love for what it really is. The word “love” used over and over again by those afflicting pain causes the word to be an unfriendly sound. It will take repeated acts of true love to show the true meaning of the word. On my own, I cannot love in the way it is required to heal another’s wounds. The good news is that God has sent His Holy Spirit to produce the love of God within us. The love of God becomes a flowing river of life, flowing out of the heart given to the Lord.
