In the day of my deliverance, I saw the Lord coming while sin still overshadowed everything. The first thing the Lord asked me to do for Him, was to see myself forgiven. He asked me to take off the ideas about God and about myself, and put on His garment – the garment of salvation. He said to me, “Now cover the garment of salvation with My robe of righteousness.” He anointed me with joy, and salvation was praise upon my lips for the glory of the Lord. To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified (Isaiah 61:3). I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels (Isaiah 61:10).
The world view of Christianity is not what the Lord desires us to see, but what we have made out of the name of Jesus our Christ. Jesus said, “Take what is mine and join me.” The church has said, “Give to me what I am due; and do not count your self among the leaders, nor walk by the ascension gifts of Jesus.” Jesus, the head, bowed and washed the feet (the feet being part of the body, and the rest of the body already cleansed by the words He spoke). The church has put itself on a platform and said, “Here are my feet, sit under them.” Jesus said we would know His voice. The overseers have said, “Watch me and hear my voice.” Jesus covered nakedness with His own garments and robes. The church uncovers nakedness to increase the hem of their robe.
The Lord is saying to the church, “Give me your robes of self righteousness, and let me put my robe upon you. Covering the garment of salvation with your own robe hides the truth that sets others at liberty. Remove the anointing you received from your self, and the word of flattery that you received as an ordination; let me anoint you with joy and ordain you with the covering you were conceived to carry. Place your self at the feet, and not under the feet, of one that teaches – you have no need that any should teach you, the anointing will abide in you and teach you. Remove My children from under your feet. Receive the anointing, and let the anointing teach.”
In the day of my deliverance the Lord delivered me. Jesus was positioned within a brother or sister, and spoke from within and loved from within. The Holy Spirit positioned Himself around me like a wind that blows from all directions at once. With the encouragement from others, I received the Spirit into my very being – God breathed on me and I became a living being. The voice of God moved from without to within, and I hear Him for myself, and know His voice. Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure (Philippians 2:12-13). There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love (1 John 4:18). While I was working out my own salvation there was fear; but with the realization that it is God that works the work, and not I; perfect love casted out the fear. That is my deliverance.
Faith without works is dead, but faith in the works of God is alive. Allow God to work His work from within you, and have a faith that is alive – have joy – have perfect love working without from within. That kind of love only comes to fallen man, when they know that it is God that lifts up. God said, “Go!” but don’t forget to take Him with you. To edify another God must be doing the work – faith in God is allowing God to do the work – it then is a living faith. A fallen human only remains a fallen human until God lifts them up; then they are one exalted by God. God uses the anointing that He put into each of us to do the lifting (edifying). The ascension gifts that Jesus gave are the gifts God uses to lift us up.
In the day of my deliverance, God used the gifts of Jesus my Christ given to another to lift me up. How wonderful it is to be out from under the feet of the liar, and to know the truth. God grant me the gifts and be the strength and work the works within to edify my brothers and sisters; that they will no longer be door mats at the gates of hell, but deliverers in the body of Chris.
