Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and lean not to your own understanding; In all of your ways acknowledge Him and He will guide your path. I will pray to the Father and He will give you another Comforter that He may abide with you forever. The Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all things I said to you. When the Comforter comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.
Trust in the Lord … and lean not to your own understanding. That statement has been a prison door that too many have used to imprison too many Christians too long. If you are not to lean to your own understanding, you are to listen to mine and obey my understanding. No thank you. In all of my ways I shall acknowledge Him and He will guide my path. Share with me your testimony and pray with me for the Body of Christ, but do not bind us with your understanding. Ask for the Comforter that Jesus promised and seek His guidance and understanding. Jesus is faithful and God does not lie. Lean on the understanding of the Holy Spirit.
The Lord is a giver and not a taker. Those that serve the Lord in a preaching ministry will give to you the testimony of the Holy Spirit in their life and of the mercy of God through the forgiveness of Jesus Christ. Their message will be the good news of Jesus and of belonging to the Christ. The body of our Lord was broken and the temple was destroyed, no stone remain atop another. The new temple is the Christ. The Holy Spirit, the Comforter, comes to dwell with us as members of the Christ. We are the Temple and the Holy Spirit is the bond that joins us, even though we are broken and no one remains atop another.
My Father in heaven, I pray this day for the understanding taught by the Holy Spirit and the faith to act upon the teaching. The understanding of Jesus increase within me and within the Christ increase me as You will. Strengthen my resolve to share the testimony and truth of and to Your glory. The talents that You have given to me are wasted if they are for my glory. Forgive me for wasting Your gifts. It is because of the gift of Your Son, Jesus, that I ask these things. It is to His glory that I come before You now. It is because of His life and within His life that I pray to live. Amen.
You have answered me. I will declare Your name to my brethren; in the mist of the assembly I will praise You. The testimony of my life had been one of seeking my life in me. Your Holy Spirit now dwells within and there is life within, but I will not dwell within myself nor trap the Spirit there. The life You have given is a gift to be shared. Take my head in Your hands Lord and bless me and anoint my head. Hold me within Your grace and grant me the peace that comes from the knowing of the Lord Jesus. In all of my ways acknowledging Him let me always be in your will. Let Him guide my ways all my days.
