There is still God
Even when we find it easier
To go our own way
And will not believe
There is still God
When the hand of a brother
Takes the life of another
Sending him home
There is still God
Watching us coming down the road
That’s taking us home
Returning to a feast
Of the prize Lamb
That did not count it as a loss
Laying down His life for us
Baring the cross
There is still God
In the quiet of the hospital
Our loved one slipping
Away to the better place
There is still God
At the side of the grave
When we sing Amazing Grace
Sending them home
There is still God
In the child raising herself
While we are searching
For a piece of fame
There is still God
In the schools with bars
Where we can’t say His name
Silently we pray
There is still God
In the children never born
To save our freedom
We gave them away
There is still God
When time does not allow
Us to spend time with Him
He is still there
There is still God
Giving us the things we need
To find our way back
Turn around and see
There is still God
In the Father and the Son
Wanting to make you one
Of the family
