Should I come into the promise all alone
Should I build a house for God
Made out of flesh, blood and bone
Or let Jesus change me into His own

Should I prophesy about the coming hostility
Should I preach going to purgatory
To burn forever in their iniquity
Or of how Jesus’ love can set them free

If you eat of the tree of flowing life
That flows with Love, Mercy and Grace
You’ll throw off hate, doubt and endless strife
Or else God said, “You will surely die”

Along came a snake and said, “It is not so”
And man believed the devil and let God go
Preachers are still teaching sin that gets you life
Even though God said “death,” Lucifer said “No”

Should I teach the Word of God with my tongue
And the lies of Satan with the same one
Jesus Christ is the tree that grows endless life
Should I be a branch on the tree that is God’s Son

Should I or should I let God’s mighty love
Pray Christ Jesus into me heart and soul
Let the living Spirit flow like water from above
Melt me away like wax and leave me whole

As for me, I choose Father, Son and Holy Spirit
As for me, I choose eternal life in the God Family
Because I did not choose Him, He chose me
He loved me first and He loves me endlessly
