A Place in the Son

No, it is not a type-o. We have places in the Son where we can go and do go during our walk of faith. In our Christian walk we first have a need within that we do not understand and a desire to find something we know will make us who we should be. Some people become dependent on works (workaholics) – some become dependence on food or drink – some become dependent on other people. What we need is God. That is what we lost in the garden when Adam and Eve turned their back on God and believed satan’s lie instead of God’s truth. Christ Jesus came to give us God.

God was/is the creator and also intended to be the king of the earth: we turned our backs on God again when Israel said they wanted a man king like the other nations. Jesus came from two lines of kings. Jesus is the Son of God and the son of King David, through Mary. Jesus is the union of God and man. After Jesus died, He presented Himself to God the Father and God the Father gave all things to Him. Christ Jesus is our rightful King and His kingdom is now, in the heart of the believer, and coming to full glory at the end of this age.

The need that is within every human is because we do not know God in our lives. When a believer knows what God has done for them and turns back to God by (because of) the blood of Jesus they start to know that God has always been there. That knowing is the Holy Spirit working with the believer. Jesus said that a Comforter would come and remind us of the things Jesus said and that the Comforter would speak the things the Comforter has heard. The Comforter, the Holy Spirit, speaks to us the words He hears from God. Jesus is the Word of God. Jesus also said that He, Jesus, would dwell in us and we in Him.

The need for God in our lives is so great that there is a void within us until we do turn back to Him. That void is hell. And hell will be cast in the lake of fire with satan, the demons, and death. Just as our Christian walk is towards the kingdom of God, a walk without God is a journey into the void that is hell. If we try to fill the void without God, we become unbalanced. Even if we try to fill the void with Christian trappings without God, we become unbalanced. That is where workaholics, alcoholics, drug addicts, gluttons and all sorts of abusers come from. They are attempting to replace God with things and get unbalanced in one or more areas. You can also get unbalanced trying to know the history and rituals of religion without knowing God. Works without faith are vain repetitions and knowledge without the Holy Spirit is foolishness.

Jesus came to be and is the Christ, our Savior. Jesus lived as a man, died as a man and lives and is, was and always will be God (the Son of God – the Word of God). He gives us the way to come back to God the Father without the vain repetitions and gives to us the Holy Spirit as a gift. We have to accept the gift of the blood of Jesus and our need for the gift. We have to accept the gift of the Holy Spirit. We need to walk into the Son. The Holy Spirit will teach us the things that God expects from us and tell us of the things that God does for us. The gift of Jesus is from God the Father. The Father has given all things to Jesus. The Holy Spirit is a gift from Christ Jesus and so is a balanced life. We all have a place in the Son.
