Partially cloudy days
Rain mixed with light
Igniting the sky with colors
Neverland no longer Kansas
Gone with the wind

Swirling spinning seed
Parachuted from the trees
Resurrected perennials pushing
Through dry leaves and snow
Needing what is given
Giving what is needed

Seasons come and go
Preferences out of control
Reoccurring patterns
Irregular regularity
Not different, but not consistent
Fall, then winter giving way to spring
