Lost Inside

Love is an illusion
That escapes the human boundaries
Of right and wrong and yesterday
Love is faster than a speeding bullet
Stronger than the average delusion
Lost inside a symphony

The greatest epic verse
Can only hope to poorly rehearse
The imagination waiting to see
If love can survive the need to endure
But why go on without the dream
Lost inside a memory

Please don’t get me wrong
I believe in love and believe endlessly
In both the lasting desire and the need
To love without concern for yesterday
Or any day that comes my way today
Lost inside one who is me

Known by our love
What a way to be defined in time
What a way to be addressed by heaven
For one who is love to know you like that
It boggles the human heart and mind
Lost inside our reality
