Woke up on Sunday morning
Knowing I should go to church
Feeling busted, unloved, and hurt
I made it just as the praise team was starting
Knowing if I could find it anywhere
I will find it here

Walked straight down to the altar
Fell down on my knees and cried
Lord please help me understand
Why life seems to get harder trying to serve You
Knowing if I can find an answer
