A time to weep,
And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
And a time to dance
(Ecclesiastes 3:4).

One would think that it would be good to see your loved one for forty days walking and talking before sharing breakfast by the sea and ascending into heaven. Jesus went into the tomb for us all. When Jesus ascended all those who died in Christ for all time ascended with Him. “For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life. Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee” (2 Corinthians 5:4-5).

We are enthroned with Christ Jesus and surrounded by a cloud of witnesses and still we run the race on earth with heaven within us. We are earthly temples created by God a habitation for the Holy Spirit of assurance. We are kingdom ambassadors with a gospel of the kingdom to proclaim. We mourn on the earth and celebrate in heaven with Christ our Lord. Our joy is with Christ Jesus in heaven and the Spirit of Christ on the earth. We weep and mourn on earth and laugh and dance in heavenly places.
