Whoever believes on the Lord
Come to Him as a living stone
Being built up in His name
Precious to all those
Whose hearts cry out to Him
Mercy calls out to mercy
Faithfulness calls out to faith
Grace builds upon grace
Forgiveness takes place
Love becomes the face
Of the gathering of fools
Confounding the builders
Building on the sandy shores
Shifting with the tides
Build upon the stable rock
Stone upon living stone
Tender the mortar with Spirit and fire
Love, joy, peace, forbearance,
Kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
There is no law against a strong mind
Nor a heart of flesh able to love
