Don’t

Don’t answer the phone when I call
Don’t walk in front of me down the hall
And stop and turn to me and smile
Or stop and talk to me for a while

I thought they were love
I thought they meant more than you can say
More than, honey all I want is to play
They were not what I thought they would say

I had me a time to believe
And I thank you for that – thank you
But to believe is a little more than I need
To be to you all that you can let me be

Don’t write anymore
Don’t send it with love anymore
Bring your love here to me, for me to see
Don’t , I don’t know if I would believe

Everyone says I love you sometimes
I will get another time, I will find
Someone that will let me believe
Even if it’s more than they need
