Who is the Lord
That we should know
Anything of Him
He is a man
Some two thousand years
Ago gone by

Can what is known
That remembered
By those that knew Him
Be anymore
Remembered by them
Than yesterday

Can any know
A day gone by
And write the words down
The next day past
Once the sun is gone
Will two agree

Who is the Lord
That we should know
Anything of Him
He is of God
And has always been
Will always be

What man need tell
Another of His life
Can’t He better show
Us of Himself
And of the Father
By His Spirit

But so we know
That we have been
Introduced to Him
We have His word
Written down for us
By His Spirit
