the generation to come

This is being written
For the generation to come,
A prayer for people yet created,
May you know to praise the Lord.
For He looked down on us
From His sanctuary in paradise
To hear the mournful sounds
Of the lost and lonely prisoner,
To set us all free from death,
To proclaim His faithful name,
In the mountain of the Most High
And His praise in Jerusalem,
Where people bring their kingdoms
To gathered and serve the Lord.

Everything old passes away,
But God is new everyday
And His name is preserved forever.
God alone has stood up with mercy
To show His favor upon
The kingdom of heaven on earth
And hear the prayers of His servants.
He will appear in His brilliance
And answer the prayers of the poor.
Let the cry of my prayer be heard
And the face of God be revealed.
Open Your ears to the cry of the young.
Answer them quickly when they plea,
For they are the generation to come.
