Do you remember first being in love?
Can you remember the feelings?
Love is not a feeling, but wow how it felt
To be in what we call our first love!

To the angel of church of Ephesus
This is the charge found against you
That you have not remembered your first love
Remember and do the first works

You shall love the Lord your God
This is the first and great love
To be in love with one that first loved us
And gives life to the believer

Jesus took me in His arms and said,
“If you do not so receive the kingdom”
“Then you can in no other way enter in.”
Embrace it like a child in your arms

How did it feel to be held in the love
Of the One that gave everything
Just to come and hold you in His arms?
Remember how it felt and return!
