The lyrical verse
blooms like a flower
in the mind’s garden.
To the pompous
narrator of great works,
the young blossom’s beauty
is added to the tender’s
flowered path.
In the mind’s garden
its petals and green
are easily overlooked,
overpowered by the many.
While in the arid void
mind of one seeking
the single bursting bloom
becomes a reason to till
and to water the seeds
in the mind’s garden
