Two Days Past, I Had A Dream

3/17/2008

Two days past, I had a dream. Not a foolish in and out, doesn’t go anywhere dream, but one that looked like a well made movie. Not like life, because I saw all of myself as if seeing from another point of view. A young child, my wife, and I were in a large room attached to another building. The room was like a large sun porch with windows across the long wall. It had no furnishings. The young child, too small to walk, was sleeping on a blanket in the middle of the room. Outside, a couple hundred feet away, there was a barn. In the barn was light from a fire, and I could see people dancing. Small groups of people were coming from the barn and looking in the windows. They were laughing, making weird faces, and shouting rude remarks then returning to the barn.

A knock came at the door. It was a set of male red headed identical twins. As I started to open the door, one of them pushed it open and ran past me singing and dancing. When he got to the center of the room, he dropped down onto all fours over the young child. The second man walked very slowly and methodically and tried to force me against the walk. All at once I was filled with power and I lifted the man in front of me off the floor. Holding him over my head I said, “You may survive, but I am going to kill your brother.” With that said I threw him at the other man and both went tumbling across the floor, breaking the neck of the hyper twin. The one that had attempted to subdue me was barely moving. I went up behind him and said, “No!” And reached down with both hands and broke his neck.
