Marching Orders

All this stuff about God’s love is sweet and all, but if we have such a loving Father; why is everything so messed up? In the neo-Christian environment of today it is not popular to speak or write of such things, but the truth remains the issue is rebellious children. The Father’s love is with us and is forgiving and merciful, but the children keep rebelling. A rebel is someone seeking to overthrow the existing government. “For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God'” (Isaiah 14:13). Who is that rebel who wanted to ascend into heaven and exalt their own throne above the throne of God? For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12).

The existing government in heaven is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is currently on the earth preparing the way for the government of God to come to earth. Is the Holy Spirit the rebel, wanting to overthrow the government of the earth? No. Were not the earth and all things in it created by the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? Who is it that is rebellious against the Father? The enemy is spiritual wickedness. Has the enemy of the Father allies on the earth among mankind? While men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way (Matthew 13:25). The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one (Matthew 13:38).

Neo-Priests may not want to admit it, but God has an enemy and that enemy has allies on the earth among mankind. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you” (John 15:18). God, in the form of Jesus, came into a world that hated Him, because the Father so loved the world. God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) came in the form of the Son, because of the Father’s love, to seek those allied to the enemy. “But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance” (Matthew 9:13).

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:43-45a). The allies of the enemy are called sons of the wicked, but Jesus came to give them adoption as sons of God by pouring out His own blood on the earth. So the allies among mankind are not who our fight is against. The identifying sign of those among the sons of God is their love towards the sons of the wicked among the children of Eve. Jesus, the Son of God, being one among the children of Eve passed down through her sons starting with Seth. And Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and named him Seth, “For God has appointed another seed for me instead of Abel, whom Cain killed” (Genesis 4:25).

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen (Matthew 28:19-20). Go (not because you are better than the world, but because you were once part of the world) teaching them to observe all things Jesus has commanded you. Teach them to see the love of the Father loving on them. Love your enemy, as Jesus commanded and as He saw the Father do, and teach them to see God loving on them. Love one another, as Jesus commanded and saw the Father do, and teach them to see you loving one another. Teach them to see you doing what God commanded you to do. Love, and be the son of your Father in heaven. Soak in the Father’s love for a little while, then get up and GO TEACH THEM TO SEE! This love stuff may work after all.

It is time for the intercessors to pray for a divine supernatural love of the Father to cover us. It is time to pray, “Do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen” (Matthew 6:13). For the spirit of wickedness would like to temp us in our resolve to love one another and our enemy. Remind the Father of the prayer of the Son, “I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth” (John 17:15-17). As sons of God we need to remember, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God” (Matthew 5:9). Lord in our resolve to love as our Father loves, give us peace and release a peacemaker anointing within us.
