While writing these things

While writing these things concerning our Lord Jesus, the news of His kingdom and the things fulfilled and being fulfilled, I wondered if those reading would ask, “Who is this person?” First, I would like to say that who I am is of no importance. I am a willing vessel of the Lord Jesus, filled with the love of the Holy Spirit. It is not I but Christ Jesus in me that is of any importance. It is not I but the forgiveness of God that is our Lord Jesus in me that is of importance. It is of importance that the same Christ Jesus is available to the entire world and is Lord of all things in heaven and earth. It is of importance that Christ Jesus is the Son of God. I am a servant being served by the Lord and in His service.

Paul wrote, “In Him (Christ Jesus) dwells all the fullness of the Godhead in bodily form; and you are complete in Him who is the head of all principality and power. In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised with through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.” When the leaders of Israel asked that Christ Jesus be killed they cut away the promise and ended the old covenant with God. Christ Jesus became the circumcision for the world, being the stone that the builder has thrown away. Christ Jesus is the flesh cut away and the new covenant with God is the blood of Jesus. Christ Jesus was not left dead. The stone rejected by the builders became the Cornerstone of the new temple of God. We that are with Jesus, were with Him in death and are with Him in life in the new covenant. We are all the new temple of God.

It is Christ Jesus in me that is in these things written. Jesus told us the He would send a comforter, the Holly Spirit, that would speak, not His own words but what He hears, He would speak. That Holly Spirit is the lifeblood that pumps through the new temple of God. The blood that Christ Jesus spilled for our sake makes us righteous and pure as we stand with Jesus at the right hand of God. Our sins died with Jesus and are on the other side of the grave. We now live in the Holly Spirit baptized in the blood of Christ Jesus. That is the boldness with which I write. I am in Christ Jesus and He is in me.

As I write I hope one thing, that the reader does not see a man that has sinned and lived in sin but the blood of Jesus that baptized and the Holly Spirit that teaches and speaks the Word of God. I hope that you do not see the man that has weaknesses and fails, but Christ Jesus that overcomes. It is my prayer that God calls to the reader to come to the Lord Jesus. It is my prayer that those in Christ find hope in Jesus. But my prayers only matter because God hears our prayer and is faithful. Do not put your faith in yourself or in me. Do not put your faith in days, feasts, food or wine. Those things are examples and we have the real Savior, Christ Jesus.

God has given to us a Savior, His Word that came to us in the form of a child born of a woman. The child grew to be a man and died at the hands of world leaders but willingly gave His life. The man was raised from the dead by a loving God and has returned to God. The man was and is Christ Jesus. Through the life, death and resurrected life of Christ Jesus we are all part of the family of God; united with God by the blood of Jesus and in the Holy Spirit. In the Holly Spirit we have communication with God. Do not look to me for an answer, it is in Christ Jesus. I am only a sign pointing to our Lord.
