Light Into Darkness

This is the message which we declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5). Of those that trust in the Lord it is written, “They shall be Mine,” says that Lord of hosts, “on the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him” (Malachi 3:17). Concerning the prophets that cause people to stray it is written, So the seers shall be ashamed, and the diviners abashed; indeed they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer from God (Micah 3:7). Of understanding it is written, The light shined into the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it (John 1:5).

The Holy Spirit has delivered a message to me and has said, “The dead churches are many and our Father was faithful and put Spirit filled sons and daughters into the pews where people prayed, even if their leaders were not ordained by God. God is calling the Spirit filled sons and daughters out of the fellowships that have blinded themselves to the light in the midst of them. All that is dead will remain and all that will remain is the dead.” People listen to the words of the Holy Spirit; He will come into you and the Voice of our Lord will be within you. Sing out in joy and let the Spirit pray for you. Let the tongue of flesh go and embrace a tongue of Spirit. Let the gifts of the Spirit be free in the middle of the fellowship service and if you are asked to leave, then leave. God will find you a place to fellowship. The anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you need not that anyone teach you; but the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and it is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has been taught you, you will abide in Him (1 John 2:27).

For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find (Romans 7:18). Paul was correct, the answer is not in fighting with the flesh, but accepting the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the love and power of God our Father and His Son, our Lord and King. We cannot find life in dead nor can we hear truth from a liar. It is our Lord that has overcome and in our attempts to overcome for ourselves is where we cannot find good. God is good and God alone is good (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). Why look for good where it cannot be found? For it is God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shown in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthly vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us (2 Cor. 4:6-7).

From the pulpit you may hear, “Do not forsake the assembling of yourselves together,” as a command to remain in a fruitless fellowship. Assembling with true unbelievers is not an assembling together. Unless the Lord builds a house, it is not of the Lord. All that say Christ is not of Christ. All that assemble in buildings that read Christ on the front, are not of Christ. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons (and daughters) of God (Rom. 8:14). If the Holy Spirit is not taught and is not teaching, the assembly is not of Christ. If the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit are not evident, the assembly is not of Christ. Assemble first with the Holy Spirit and the Father and Son in prayer, they will lead you to an assembling of saints or gather one around you.

These things I write are not from me alone. The Holy Spirit of which I write is within and ministers to me. The Voice of our Lord, the good Shepherd, is within me. The Voice that said, “Let there be light,” dwells within and ministers. The Son of man that walked up a hill and climbed onto a cross to die is the Son of God that sends the Spirit to dwell within. Nothing was done to Jesus that He could not have stopped, but He endured death for us. He has returned to the Father that sent Him and has sent the Holy Spirit. Do not deny the gift of Holy Spirit; do not bind the Holy Spirit and make Him a prisoner within you. Let the Spirit have His way in you – it is the Way of God. Let the Holy Spirit be your hands and feet and heart and voice. Do not leave the Holy Spirit locked in your prayer closet, let the light shine into all aspects of your life. Assembling together is every day and every place where you meet another seeking answers. Answer with the Word of God from the Holy Spirit.
