Grace

Grace, sin that was mine is no longer
But has been left in hell with its master
Grace, good that I do is not I doing
But is from heaven and its eternal king
Grace, I have no debt that is not paid
Already by the death of my Lord
Grace, no ones owes me anything
So all things are a gift from my king
Grace, restoration of the King my Lord
Has given me assurance of life evermore

God has granted us to our Lord
Restored to His former self
After He descended, He ascended
Changing us from sin to glory in Him
Exchanging our death for His own

Good has been done us for our evil
Relationships with our creator restored
A prayer put on our lips to our Father
Calling us to be alive in His Spirit
Eternal life given to replace eternal death

Good that we do is our Lord in us
Reality is given truth as its guide
Another has given life for and to
Calling on us to love one another
Everything is there that we need do

Grace, the love that we need is sent
And is the fruit of the Holy Spirit
Grace, love that came first from God
In the form of His Son to us all
Grace, the mercy of God revealed
To us by the life of His begotten Son
Grace, a gift given cannot be taken
Nor bought, it must be received from
