There was a time when I was lost
And didn’t know where to turn

You came to me and said,
I am the Light and the Way
I am the Good Shepherd
I am the Great I Am and I can
Do more in you because
I am with our Father
And our Father is greater than I am

In Jesus name I’m at Your throne
Your Word has washed away my sins

Not for anything I have done
Your Son’s shown You to me
He has shined light into the darkness
Now the darkness is light
Shining into the night
My Father You are greater than I am

Father I was always your child
Lost and just a little bit wild
You sent my big Brother looking for me
Your Son You sent for me
Now You’re watching down the road
While I’m walking the way
Back to You in the name of Jesus
My Brother is my King
That also calls me friend
And Father You are greater than I am
