These things ought not the Christ have suffered
Has it been so long that we can not remember?
Enter into the House of God

Victory is not something easily obtained
Or something to be lightly taken
It has cost precious lives
Can you hear life calling you? “Answer Me.”
Enter into the House of God

Ought not the Christ to have suffered
For it was written and necessary

Go you therefore into all of the world
Ought not the Christ that suffered, be taught
Do not forsake the calling to be chosen

Meditate on the spoken Word
Yield unto the Spirit your meditation

Voice of God come unto me, I pray
In the hour of the coming Promise
Come into the heart and prepare the way
That I should walk all the days
Of my life now given for His glory
Reach into the deepest part of my soul
Yield unto the Lord a victory

Live forever in My bosom, He will say
In the Word of God that always was
For within Me is your life eternal
Enter into the House of God
