It is Written . . .

It is written that You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. … and … you shall love your neighbor as yourself. These are the two commandments given to us by our Lord and Teacher, Jesus of Christ. But, these have been too many for some, so today I give you one commandment that contains all. Love one another and yourself with the love of the Christ. If you do this then you will love God. What does it serve God or humanity if you walk the earth praising and saying “I love God, praise the Lord,” if you do not so to the children. If someone said to you, “I Love You,” but did harm to your child or watched harm done to them – would that have shown you their love. Be to each other, if you are to be to God.

What you bind on earth is bound in heaven, so open your heart. If you heart is bound – if you do not for fear of pain – if you do not because of the pain of the past – if you do not because it has not been done for you – open your heart. In the Love of Christ you will find forgiveness. In forgiveness you will find freedom. In freedom you will find choice. Choose to love and you will find love. It will not always be perfect, we are not perfect and if we claim to be, we are denying the life and death and life of Jesus. Forgiveness is a gift of an open heart. Be prepared to do great things, as great as the things that Jesus has done, greater will be done by us that follow Him into the Christ. Forgive the imperfections of others and of yourself. Bind sin not to yourself or to each other. Open you heart and let the Love of Christ flow through.

We all know that Jesus performed great works when He walked the earth. Greater will be done by us that follow Him into the Christ. Greater things than Jesus did, we will do because He is with the God. We say that there has been no greater teacher, preacher, healer, etc., than Jesus of Christ. This I believe is true, but why? This we say as praise to our Lord, but it is a bad report of us that follow Him into the Christ. Why do we accept the glory of the Christ and not accept the power? Why do we fear the power of sin, but do not call on the power of the Christ? Why do we say wait on the Lord, when He has appointed some of us to do His works? Jesus healed, by the faith of the sick, not by His own. But, Jesus showed works that instilled faith. How do we be faithful in these things? How do we instill faith in the Christ, so that when we speak the faithful are healed? By letting the light of the Spirit that is the Christ shine forth.

We are not perfect. It is so important, in this life, to look to others to be without fault. But we are human and filled with faults. So we wish to hide our faults in the shadows and darkness. What a waste it is to pretend to be what we know we are not, instead of grabbing hold of the promise that will make us so. Ask God for forgiveness and forgive others in the name of Jesus of Christ. He died so we could stand before God – how much more worthy does that make us to stand before our brother and sisters. When one is lost in darkness, they seek the light to show them the way. Be a light. Show your brothers and sisters the way to forgiveness. Love one another. Show them the way to Jesus of Christ. Jesus will lead them into the Christ.

Pray this day in the name of our Lord Jesus – the head of the Christ – the Rock that the Spirit flows from that waters the tree of life. Ask God to open your heart to those that failed you – those that mislead you – those that misused you – those that abused you – those that place the burden upon your back – those that would take your life – those that are lost, and give to you the spirit of forgiveness. Ask for forgiveness for those you failed – those that you mislead – those that you misused – those that you abused – those whose backs you burdened – those whose life you would take. In Jesus name pray these things. When the burden is lifted from you, you will shout and praise the name of our Lord and of Him that sent Him. Be to one another, and you will be to God that has put us here.
