There is a light in the darkness
That shines even when the sun sleeps
There is a word the anointing is teaching
Planted in your heart from creation
There is a voice inside of you preaching
That defies mankind’s preparation
A man can plan but God completes
Or the builder labors in pride
Making earthly things in the image of himself
Out of straw and stubble that will burn
Dust to dust, earth to earth it returns
But by the grace of God dry bones rise
Forgiveness is in the love of God
Rest from our labors of vanity
Lord put Your hand on me and I will be free
Free from judging my siblings in You
To find in You my serenity
And You in me to find my walk of grace
