Through wars and rumors of wars
Through illness and outbreaks
Through the losses and the threats
With the hearing of bad news
From near and from far away
With depravity rampantly spreading
It would be easy to think or say
No one is in charge; there is no king
Evil is not the result of our king
But mans rejection of our God
Peace on earth begins with love
Love begins with God our Father
Jesus is our king and God within
And our King is still Sovereign

Through times of trails and trouble
Through ruff times and heart breaks
Through times of frustration
With the knowledge of man
Tearing down your faith in God
With the realization that you have sinned
When God seems so far away
Jesus Christ is here; that is the truth
Follow Him home to our Father God
Hear Him saying, “Come walk with Me”
Peace on earth begins with love
Love begins with God our Father
Jesus is our king and God within
And our King is still Sovereign

Come worship our God with me
Before it is too late
Let’s get down on our knees
Humbled before our God
Raising up with the power
With the understanding and the wisdom
That can only come from Him
Bow before our king; He will anoint you
And appoint you as a child of God
To walk always in His kingdom
