3/21/2010: God gave this vision a few months past, and is still unfolding the interpretation.
In a dream, there was a tree standing by a flowing river. The tree was so close to the bank of the river that some of its roots were exposes and went into the water. In the spirit, I was standing by the tree testifying and teaching the Lord Jesus Christ. There were no other men there, and still I spoke on. After a little while, a few men in multicolored robes came and stood by the tree and listened. As time passed more and more men came, each wearing a unique multicolored robe. Some of the men began to sit on the ground and listen.
The Lord has shown that the tree with some of its roots in the water is the organizational church – partly rooted in the flowing waters of the river of life, and partly rooted in the earth. The one I saw as myself is the church and the ministry of the church to the people. The men coming and standing by the tree represent peoples of all the earth coming to hear about Jesus Christ; looking for the gospel without the added “this is how you have to do it” rules of mankind. They stood, because they have heard ministers start teaching Jesus and then turn the teaching to their own ministry. The men, who sat on the ground, are the peoples of the world being grounded in the word of God.
The ministry started by the tree with no one else around, because God is ministering to the church first. The minister stood by the tree because God is telling the ministry of the people to leave the organizational church, but to stay in touch. The organizational churches believe the revival is starting with them; but the revival is starting with those who know they need Jesus, and not those who believe they already have all of the Christ they need. The organizational church will join the revival as their hearts return to a pure ministry of the gospel.
There is a ministry within the church, God has called and anointed, and not part of the organizational church leadership; not recognized by the bylaws of the organizations. They may have degrees and licenses or they may not; either way they are stones the builders are rejecting. God is calling them out, to minister to a hurting word. Israel did not bless the world, and Jesus came and did the work of the Father anyway. The organizational churches are not blessing the world, but God will do His work anyway. Why isn’t the church blessing the world? We are so caught up in our rules, we forget that we are forgiven and we forget to forgive; no different than the overseers of Israel.
It is not too late; God is calling for the hearts of the children to turn to Him, and He will be our God and we will be His people. The vision is a prophetic message to the organizational church. The revival can start within the churches; the fire can come and cleanse the body first – the man by the tree can be the fullness of the body of Christ. Read the prayer of Jonah found in Jonah chapter 2 to the people. Our organizational doctrines have been our ship to Tarshish; we hide from the presence of the Lord in our ideas about how to do things. Be of a good heart and have joy, because Jonah wasn’t ready to go to Nineveh until he spent three days in the fish.
