“For the day of the LORD upon all the nations is near; as you have done, it shall be done to you; your reprisal shall return upon your own head” (Obadiah 1:15 NKJV). As a nation, what have we done? We use games of chance to take from the poor, even that which they do not have. We kill neighboring nations to take the oil from their lands. We allow our judges to deliver death sentences to the sick and weak. We allow judges to change the institution of marriage, established by God. We kill our children before they are born, while they are still protected in the water of their mother’s womb. “The floods have lifted up (raised up), O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods have lifted up their waves” (Psalm 93:3 NKJV).

There is an answer. “The LORD is mightier than the noise of many waters, than the mighty waves of the sea” (Psalm 93:4 NKJV). There is a deliverer. “The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy it, if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it” (Jeremiah 18:7-8 NKJV). There is a time coming when the nations will turn to the LORD. Why not now? “All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations shall worship before You. For the kingdom is the LORD’s, and He rules over the nations” (Psalm 22:26-28 NKJV).

United States of America, return to the LORD! Our land is running with the blood of our children; and we send the ones that we allowed to live to spill the blood of other nations. The seas and the earth are raising up against us. The evil of the world has become the reason of our judges. We protect a persons right to do evil and destroy the prophets that speak of reason. We remove the voice of God or allow it only when we do not speak the name of His Son, Jesus the Christ. It is the Word of God, Jesus the Christ, that holds the universe in place. Why do we listen to mockers that say, “There is not God” or “We are our own God” but cannot even save themselves? United States of America, return to the LORD our God, Jesus the Christ!
