7/4/2010 – A man was delivered this morning in the lobby at the Motel 6 in Coralville, Iowa. A couple was checking in as we were checking out. They were $5.00 short of the funds needed for their room, and God showed up with a 5 dollar bill in my hand. As the money dropped the man yelled, “That is Jesus.” He moved towards us and proclaimed, “I NEED SAVED!” Unclean spirits manifested and were cast out with prayer and compassion for the man – the man repeated a prayer of dedication to the Lord – and praise broke out.
We followed them to their room, where the man shared that he had been troubled with unclean spirits for three days and nights, had had no sleep for three nights. The Lord gave him Psalm 31:1-2. Prayer broke out again. The man began hugging us and didn’t want to let go. When we finally had to go, the man followed us out and shouted, “YOU SAVED MY LIFE! GOD SAVED ME!”
In You, O LORD, I put my trust;
Let me never be ashamed;
Deliver me in Your righteousness.
Bow down Your ear to me,
Deliver me speedily;
Be my rock of refuge,
A fortress of defense to save me.
