Beliefs

– The prophecy of the coming Savior; The virgin birth of Jesus; His death; His three days and three nights in the tomb; His resurrection; His return.

– God is One plural in three and is three in One plural (Father, Son (Word) and Holy Spirit). “And I (Jesus, Word of God) will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever” (John 14:16).

– Jesus the Christ is our Savior sent by the Father. “And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world” (1 John 4:14).

– We have been redeemed by the death of Jesus. “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’ )” (Galatians 3:13).

– The Holy Spirit is as real and active today as He ever was. “And I (Jesus) will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever” (John 14:16).

– Jesus is the Word of God and the Bible is our introduction to God. “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:14). “You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life” (John 5:39-40).

– Studying the Bible is our preparation for good works. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine (teaching), for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

– We are adopted children of God. “But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, ‘Abba, Father!’” (Galatians 4:3-6).

– All the world has been reconciled to God through Christ Jesus. “Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:18).
